Horsepower entered the bestseller lists in its second week of sales, and the first edition of 3500 copies was sold out after three weeks. The novel has been translated into Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and German.
Description
Erik Fyksen, the owner of Norway’s last Mobilstasjon gas station, needs to mobilize his life and leave the service pit behind. Plans for realignment of the road and modernization of the gas station lead Fyksen into a lonely battle against both urban forces and ghosts from his own past. And not least, he wages a battle against his old rival, the shooting club chairman Harald Jøtul.
