Snow Will Fall on Fallen Snow

Following the unexpected death of his brother, Dan Kaspersen decides to sell the small family farm and get away from it all. But after a restless night in a freezing childhood home, Mona Steinmyra appears. Her smile is the first thing that could make him stay where he is. But lots of people want to get rid of him and others have something to fear from him. Dan Kaspersen decides to go hunting for a key to his brother's death, and the reader steps into a vivid landscape of heroes and heroines, bad guys and killers. There is also love to be found, and hysterically funny episodes develop. And always, underneath, lies this pulse of undertaint: won't it all go to hell?

"Realism's mystery
Sometimes a text can get a solid grip, not like an assault, but like a reminder. It may be difficult to maintain the so-called "necessary distance". Such a book is Snow Will be Falling on Snow for this reader, for me.

Levi Henriksen's novel is a matchless reminder of realism's vitality, particularly if it is coupled with linguistic and psychological sensitivity such as this writer displays.

It's absolutely certain that this reader has had a great gift land in her lap."

"Devil-may-care fabel form the Finnskog forests
Levi Henriksen, whose debut collection of short stories, Fever, had great impact back in 2002, har definitively found his syle.

The writer skilfully addresses his material with unsentimental closeness when describing longing and pain; both brother and father emerge, retrospectively, with psychological substance."
