Seventeen years ago, Britt burned every bridge behind her and moved to Spain, putting as much distance as possible between herself and her domineering mother and complicated family. She built an exciting, fast-paced life, running her own restaurant and embracing love and passion, but at the cost of her relationship with her daughter, Emma.
