Ørjan N. Karlsson

Ørjan N. Karlsson (born 1970) is a Norwegian author from Bodø and a leading voice in contemporary Nordic crime fiction. He is best known for his series featuring police investigator Jakob Weber, in which the city of Bodø, the Lofoten Islands, and the dramatic landscapes of Northern Norway provide the backdrop for dark crimes and intense investigations. The series has sold more than 150,000 copies in Norway and has also achieved significant international success, with rights sold to countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark.
