Hans Olav Brenner

Hans Olav Brenner (b. 1978) is a television presenter, cultural journalist, actor and author.

Brenner is especially well known as a TV presenter, including for Bokprogrammet, Diktafon, Brenner – historier fra vårt land, Brenner og bøkene and Brenners bokhylle. He won the Gullruten award for best male presenter in 2008 for Bokprogrammet, and was nominated for the Gullruten award for best male presenter three times (2012, 2013 and 2014) for Brenner – historier fra vårt land.

In 2011 he published Om å skrive, a conversational book in which Brenner talks to various Norwegian writers about writing.
