Magrete I

Margrete I was born as a princess in Denmark right after the Black Death. When she was ten, she was married and sent to Norway. At the age of seventeen she got her first and only child at Akershus Castle. At a time, when women just had a few rights, she became a strong and energetic monarch throughout Scandinavia and the only ruling queen in Norway.
This book is about her life, especially about what happened when she was a child and a young woman. In the fact boxes you can read what we know for sure.
