Twig and the Dream Soup

Twig and her father have moved to Japan. It’s exciting and completely different from life in Lillehammer, but even though her father is doing everything he can to help them make a fresh start, Twig misses her mother deeply.

One day, Twig’s subway ticket is accidentally mixed up with that of Mr. Kawa, the owner of the local ramen shop, and her life takes an unexpected turn. That very same day, Mr. Kawa dies, and a mysterious flying subway train appears outside Twig’s bedroom window.

As a living girl in the world of the dead, Twig must be braver than ever before. Can she help her new friends in their struggle against the evil Inspector? And will she find her way home again?

And perhaps, just perhaps,Twig might get the chance to see her mother one last time.
