The novel is a study of grief and its impact on the human beings it tears apart and wears down ? the result is heartbreakingly superb.
UniversitasThe novel The weather changed, summer came and so on is the most painful work that I have read in a long time. A physical sensation of discomfort remains in my body, which feels as if it has been torn asunder. Pedro Carmona Alvarez has with his novel both repulsed me and compelled me to read. To wallow in the pain of others to this extent is something that can easily be too much to take, and clichéd, but here the author manages to balance on a knife’s edge.
