Tambar gets a new friend

Something strange occurs one day Tambar and Gurine are in a shop: The shelves start tumbling down, and they appear to be doing it of their own accord! But then Tambar catches a glimpse of a small, grey figure rushing out the door.

The figure turns out to be a barn gnome, and a highly frustrated one at that! Toby the Gnome has been forced to sleep underground for years and years now. The farm where he once kept things in order and was paid with porridge every Christmas Eve, is gone and has been replaced with tall buildings and shops. Toby doesn’t care much for unemployment. What good is a barn gnome when nobody needs him anymore?
