Kari Hestnes

Kari Hestnes has worked with knit designs since the mid-1980s and has published a number of knitting books.

In 1998, she founded the wholesale company Du Store Alpakka alongside with her husband Per Svendsen, from where they introduced alpaca to the Norwegian knitwear market. The company was sold in 2012, and since then Kari has sold her colourful designs through her own website, www.karihdesign.com.
